 Katy Tur salary and net worth: Katy Tur, an American journalist, author and broadcaster, has a net worth $4 million. Katy Tur was born in Los Angeles, California in October 1983. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara and then worked for regional stations including KTLA, News 12 Brooklyn, WIPX-TV, and Fox 5 New York. Tur became a storm chaser in the VORTEX2 team of The Weather Channel. She joined the local New York NBC station WNBC-TV in 2009, before moving to the national NBC News. Her work with Donald Trump's presidential campaign culminated in the documentary Unbelievable: My Front Row Access to the Craziest Campaign in American History 2017. Tur was in charge of informing Trump's presidential campaign about the Access Hollywood tape. She was awarded the Walter Cronkite Award of Excellence in Journalism in 2017. Katy was with Keith Olbermann from 2006 to 2009 and married Tony Dokoupil of CBS News in the year 2017.
