MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been affected by his international reach. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song in 2017. He released his debut long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. The following year he was a part of Ozuna for his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. Then in 2021 he sang the duet for TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. A 2023 release of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was born into an musical family. His younger brother and his mother are also musicians. In interviews, he referred to the importance of music as a requirement. As a child, playing the guitar ukulele as well as piano. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singer would alter the direction of his profession.
